BBOP FAQs

Bedford Band and Orchestra Parents is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that supports instrumental music programs in the Bedford City School District.

Our fundraising efforts support instrument repairs, scholarships, shows, band camp, and much more!

If your student is in instrumental music classes at Heskett or Bedford High School, you are automatically a member of BBOP. Some of the BBOP fundraising campaigns help you and your student earn money for your student’s personal band account, which can be used to pay for band camp, field trips, fees, reeds, oil, and other supplies, etc.

BBOP and PTA work together to run the concession stand at Bearcat Stadium during football season, and they share the profits. Check out the Concession Stand page for more information.

BBOP meetings are held at 7:00 in the High School SLGI room every 3rd Monday of the month from Sept-April.  If school is closed on that Monday, the meeting is held on Tuesday.
