We have a huge stock of candy bars that we need to sell. We haven’t been able to sell that much since we’ve been on lockdown and now it’s time to clear the stock room.

Sign up to sell a case (or three) of Malley’s Chocolate bars! We can put together a mixed case for you, just let us know. First come, first server. Each case contains 36 candy bars.

You can choose any combination of the SEVEN types: Pretzel Crunch Bar, Crunch Bar, Almond Bar, Dark Chocolate Pretzel Crunch Bar, Milk Chocolate CLE Bar or NEW Peanut Butter Cups or Caramel Cups.

We would appreciate it if you can make arrangements to pay for the case when you get it.

It is with great regret that we have to inform you that Band Camp 2020 has been cancelled.  As quickly as we received approval, we also raised many concerns.  After speaking with the BBOP Executive Officers last evening, the directors & BBOP made a mutual decision to cancel camp due to safety concerns.  We tried to put all the safety protocols in place as recommended by the CDC and Ohio Music Education Association, however many members felt that camp as proposed would not be safe for all students, staff or chaperones.  As always, our number one concern is the safety of our students.  With all the uncertainties that still exist surrounding COVID, we have to make sound decisions.  We don’t take this decision lightly.  We have discussed this issue with all stakeholders and we all agree that this is the best decision for our students, staff and community considering the situation.  We would rather err on the side of caution then to see someone get sick or someone pass on the virus to someone else.  As for the future of the band program, we don’t know what it will look like come fall, but know that this too shall pass.  I personally have experienced thirty eight years of band camp without a hitch.  This is the first time in my career that I can’t do the thing that I love because of this pandemic.  Please note that this was not an easy decision to make.  After a thorough discussion, it was a decision we had to make.
One thing is for sure, we appreciate all of you as members of our organization.  Whether you are a student musician, a parent, a staff member or a community member, you are all of value to our program.  We will miss the social/emotional piece that band provides us, but we hope to someday get back to it.  As for now, take time to spend time with family and friends and take care of one another.  We can’t wait to see all of you when this virus train passes, but until then know that we wish you the best.  Stay safe.  We will be in touch.  Stay tuned for the next chapter.
